Our client planned to double capacity for train arrivals and departures by doubling the number of rail lines into and out of a quarry. The client wished to test the assumptions in the business case and appointed CHG to model the proposed design and simulate train movements against production. The Digital Twin created in partnership with the client identified a deficiency in design that would have only improved throughput by 11%. The changes made saved a multi-million-pound venture from failure.
As part of a major infrastructure investment, the client needed to develop prototype control system as part of a collaboration with the project delivery team in order to de-risk overall technical and programme delivery. CHG developed the remote terminal units in partnership with the client and contractor that facilitated off-site trials and design closure in order to de-risk the overall programme.
CHG Group partnered with the principal contractor to deliver two large-scale projects into service to this large blue-chip company. We designed, built, installed and commissioned the power and control for the materials processing operation, taking this key environmental operation into service.

CHG provided a full turnkey solution as part of one of our key frameworks. We developed the concept and designed, built, installed and commissioned over 120 systems into operational use. The key aspect to successful delivery of this project was CHG’s agile and efficient audited design, build and FAT processes.
CHG collaborated with partners to deliver this key national infrastructure large-scale project into service. We designed, built, installed and commissioned the power and control for the spoil handling and processing operation, ensuring safe, cost effective project delivery.
CHG partnered with a worldwide communications equipment supplier and multiple other key supply-chain partners to create a test facility and deliver experiments and site trials. We designed, installed and commissioned a backbone communication network and associated control and power systems to enable LoRaWAN Networks to be trialed for rail, water and Smart City applications. We subsequently developed our own LoRaWAN and IoT service offering as part of our Asset Monitor product range.
